Job Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. This role will focus heavily on process improvements in production and efficiencies in standard work applications. The position will collaborate closely with other departments to align engineering efforts with company objectives support tooling and fixture development and contribute to product design when needed. This is a roto-mold facility though prior experience in roto-molding is not required.
Duties:Including but not limited to:
  • Drive the full product development lifecycle including product mold and fixture design while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align strategies and meet cost quality and innovation goals. Monitor progress identify risks and ensure successful delivery.
  • Support the development and execution of innovative R&D strategies that align with long-term goals and market trends. Encourage creative thinking and problem-solving within the engineering team.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency standard work applications and overall manufacturing effectiveness.
  • Manage capital equipment projects to ensure effective utilization of resources in support of production goals.
  • Create and maintain quality plans documentation procedures and material specifications. Work with government agencies to ensure compliance with product and workplace regulations.
  • Collaborate with Production Quality and other departments to achieve long-term manufacturing goals and maintain high standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Support the development and maintenance of tooling and fixtures; assist with product design as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering required; advanced degrees in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven manufacturing or industrial engineering experience (no new graduates)
  • Hands-on experience with process improvement Lean methodology and capital equipment management
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align teams and stakeholders
  • Strong supervisory analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven solutions-oriented approach
  • Extensive technical knowledge of engineering and product development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; CAD experience required (Inventor strongly preferred)
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work at a desk for extended periods while using a computer
  • Ability to move throughout the manufacturing facility to oversee operations
  • Occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds
