Job Description

Industrial Projects Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering technical and operational projects from initiation to completion.
  • Apply industrial engineering tools such as value stream mapping time-and-motion studies and root cause analysis to inform process improvements.
  • Maintain issue logs and risk registers including corresponding mitigation plans and resolution updates.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate current operational processes and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with The Companys health safety environmental and quality standards throughout all phases of each project.
Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
  • Bachelors degree in industrial engineering mechanical engineering production management or a related technical field.
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies is advantageous.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in industrial engineering or process improvement preferably in high-SKU manufacturing environments.
  • Strong project management experience in operational or manufacturing settings.
  • Experience in layout planning lean implementation and process improvements.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean methodologies such as 5S Kaizen Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma.
