Job Description
Industrial Projects Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering technical and operational projects from initiation to completion.
- Apply industrial engineering tools such as value stream mapping time-and-motion studies and root cause analysis to inform process improvements.
- Maintain issue logs and risk registers including corresponding mitigation plans and resolution updates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate current operational processes and identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
- Ensure full compliance with The Companys health safety environmental and quality standards throughout all phases of each project.
Minimum Skills and Knowledge Required
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering mechanical engineering production management or a related technical field.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in industrial engineering or process improvement preferably in high-SKU manufacturing environments.
- Strong project management experience in operational or manufacturing settings.
- Experience in layout planning lean implementation and process improvements.
- Practical knowledge of Lean methodologies such as 5S Kaizen Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma.
