Job Description

Introduction

Our client in the retail property development and management sector is looking for a suitably qualified and experiencedRetail Leasing Managerreporting directlyto the Leasing Director.

This role is responsible for executingleasing strategiesacross the retail portfoliodriving occupancyleveraging technologyand fostering strongtenant relationships working closely with the shareholders and senior leadership playing a key role inshaping the long-term leasing visionof the business.

Must have Matric/Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification proven track record ofachieving retail leasing with national international and niche tenants5 years of experience in retail leasingpreferably within a landlord or property ownership groupstrong negotiation and interpersonal skillswith a track record of successfully closing deals including complex lease clausesdeep knowledge of local and national retail marketswell-versed in thelatest retail technology platforms leasing software and consumer trends with the ability to apply insights to rental strategy.
