Operate and manage petty cash accounts
Maintain accurate financial records related to Housing Benefit and Asylum Seeker payments
Assist with completing and submitting Home Office Asylum Seeker returns
Ensure the timely and accurate updating of databases and information systems
Carry out general administrative duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the service
Respond flexibly and positively to changing service demands and priorities
Communicate effectively with colleagues service users and external partners
Support team members and contribute to a positive working environment
Proven experience working in an administrative role
Experience in processing financial transactions and working with figures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience maintaining and updating databases accurately
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Capable of meeting deadlines and working to agreed standards
Flexible and adaptable approach to changing workloads
Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to high-quality service
Understanding of staff motivation and team support principles
