Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm friendly demeanor upon their arrival
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently optimizing available space
  • Escort guests to their tables present menus and assist with seating
  • Collaborate with waitstaff kitchen and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and dining section
  • Handle phone and online reservations confirming bookings and managing the reservation system
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Stay informed about menu items specials and events to offer accurate information to guests
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating special functions during busy periods or events
  • Promote special offers and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to customer service and hospitality

Qualifications :

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar hospitality role
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness with knowledge of local customs in Jeddah Saudi Arabia
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in managing reservations and seating arrangements
  • Basic math skills for table assignments and reservation management
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Professional appearance and good personal hygiene
  • Knowledge of reservation systems (preferred)
  • Problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns effectively
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
  • Dedication to continuous improvement in service quality
