Role Overview:
Provide Evidence Based Treatment to Veterans of all eras and their family members. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Veteran Culture and have experience treating PTSD Adjustment Disorders and Military Sexual Trauma. Clinician will coordinate with Valley Cities VORP Pathfinder and Housing Navigator as appropriate. This position will split time between a Veteran Housing Complex in Renton Veteran Housing in Shoreline King County Vet Center in Tukwila and a Vet Center in Northgate. This position is funded in part by the King Countys Veterans Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based treatment and assessment for veterans and their families
- Performs and documents clients screenings psychosocial assessments and progress notes
- Conduct clinical intake assessments on veterans and family members as needed.
- Be familiar with multiculturalism including Military/Veteran Culture
- Be knowledgeable of referring clients to either pathfinding or housing services as appropriate
- Knowledge of DSM-V diagnosis
- Experience in PTSD diagnosis and treatment.
- Attend all required King County and Valley Cities training and meetings.
What Were Looking For:
- Masters level degree in Human Services field.
- Licensed LMFT(A) LHMC(A) LICSW(A).
- Minimum of one year experience.
- Current Drivers License insurance and reliable transportation for travel throughout King County.
- Pass required background checks.
- Knowledge of Veterans culture and benefits.
- Good work ethic time management skills and ability to work both independently and with a team.
