MetaPhase is seeking aPower Platform Developer to lead the design and implementation of impactful digital solutions for a federal agency. This role focuses on developing scalable user-centric applications and automated workflows using the full Microsoft Power Platform stack Power Apps Power Automate Power BI along with integrations across SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365.

Youll work at the intersection of mission needs and technology helping modernize federal operations through low-code innovation and process automation.
What You Will Be Doing:
  • Design develop and maintain secure scalable solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements map business processes and translate them into technical designs.
  • Integrate with SharePoint Online Dataverse Microsoft Teams and third-party systems via custom connectors when needed.
  • Build dynamic data visualizations and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Deliver end-user training system documentation and live demos for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support continuous improvement of digital systems through proactive performance tuning UX optimization and stakeholder feedback loops.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies backlog grooming sprint reviews and solution demos.
  • Provide guidance on Power Platform governance security roles and environment management.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture.
What We Need From You (Required):
  • 5 years of experience in Microsoft technologies with at least 3 focused on Power Platform development.
  • Hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and/or Model-Driven) Power Automate and Power BI.
  • Proficiency with data modeling using Dataverse SharePoint Lists and/or SQL-based sources.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage end users gather feedback and deliver clear training.
  • Experience improving and automating business processes through low-code platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Bonus Points (Desired):

  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g. PL-100 PL-400 PL-600).
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps tools.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform ALM custom connectors or PowerShell administration.
  • Prior experience in federal government consulting.
  • Business development or proposal support experience.
Work Setup:
  • In-office at Client site in Washington DC (M-F)

  • Active Top Secret or Q clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
Education:
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience in Microsoft Power Suite.

Compensation:
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $100k - $155k.
