Job Description

The Marketing Specialist Cattle Dairy products will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of brands utilized primarily in dairy operations as well as beef reproduction. Other duties include partnering with internal stakeholders to create solutions for customers beyond the product portfolio.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and execute objectives and strategies for the reproduction and udder health portfolio which include products worth approximately $50M in annual sales.

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of current repro and udder health portfolio.

  • Communicate and champion the short and long-term strategies and tactics for brands to drive revenue growth

  • Development of tactics and resources to support field sales

  • Development of non-personal promotion tactics

  • Agency management

  • Liaise with relevant industry groups

  • Development and management of annual promotional budget

  • Input into Annual and Long-term planning forecasts

  • Partner with tech services team to develop and implement clinical studies/trials supportive of continued growth of the business

  • Product life cycle management

  • Partnership with monitoring marketing team members to create portfolio solutions for customers

KPIs:

  • Develop actionable KPIs which support measurement of marketing plan success.

  • Develop actionable customer insights to drive deeper understanding of business opportunities and challenges.

Stakeholders:

  • Internally Marketing Director Brand Managers Sales Team Channel Team Technical Service Team

  • Externally Customers Vendors Distributors Agencies

Working Conditions:

  • Working inside and office

  • Inclement weather (events outside)

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs

  • Standing for some extended periods

  • Travel expectations up to 30%

Interaction and liaison with:

Local and Global Management within our companys Animal Health as well as Channel Team Livestock Team and support team members such as digital operations regulatory legal.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelors Degreein marketing business communications oranotherrelated field

  • 3 years marketing sales advertising or business experience.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skill

  • Experience in Animal Health dairy preferred.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

The salary range for this role is

$85600.00 - $134800.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills geographic location government requirements and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive if applicable.
