Job Summary

We are now looking for a Shipping Coordinator to support import-export operations and related continuous improvement this role you will provide input to different KPIs withing the logistics area.

You will be based at the Mexicali factory reporting to the Planning & Logistics manager.
This position is temporary for 6 months
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.

What you will do

As a Shipping coordinator you will:

  • Prepare and deliver all documents (Transfer orders delivery Notes CoC & fiscal invoice credit notes) related export operations.
  • Process all imports of raw materials and Machinery & spare parts.
  • Contribute with continuous improvement activities thoroughly WCM methodology.
  • Manage SAP for daily operation.
  • Communication with carriers requesting data for export operations.
  • Creation of purchase requisitions for logistics area review and confirmation of weekly consolidated pediments with MX broker.
  • Food defense and C-TPAT program.
  • Achievement of KPIs area.

We believe you have

  • Availability to fulfill this contract for 6 months
  • A bachelors degree or Engineers degree completed
  • Intermediate English level to maintain a dialogue in a presentation.
  • 2 years experience in the shipping and/or import-export area.
  • Must have experience working with an ERP strongly desirable to have experience with SAP
  • Intermediate level using Office/Excel.
  • Strong communication skills proactive and organized. Must be focused on results and teamwork.
