This is a remote position.
Our client a leading pharmaceutical company is expanding its Contract Sales Organization (CSO) to deploy a new field sales force of 100 200 representatives. This role is strictly a Project Management position responsible for standing up and leading this strategic engagement not an IT project manager.
This is a contractual position working in the client s preferred EST time zone. The initial contract will run from September through the end of 2025 with a strong possibility of extension into 2026.
- Lead the end-to-end deployment of the new field sales force across target regions.
- Develop and manage project timelines milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate logistics onboarding and training campaigns for field sales representatives.
- Collaborate with commercial HR training and operations teams to ensure seamless roll-out.
- Align field operations with client expectations brand objectives and regional compliance.
- Serve as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders within the CSO framework.
- Implement performance tracking systems (e.g. daily call targets territory coverage sales conversion rates).
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive field force productivity.
- Adjust strategies through insights gained from sales data market dynamics and field feedback.
- Identify potential deployment risks (e.g. staffing market entry regulatory obstacles).
- Develop mitigation plans to address delays in ramp-up or field performance gaps.
- Escalate critical issues while ensuring quick resolution and maintaining project momentum.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business Life Sciences or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 6 years of project or field operations management experience preferably within pharmaceutical or biotech sales environments.
- Proven success leading field force or sales deployment projects within a CSO.
- Strong organizational and people management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and team coordination.
- Analytical acumen able to interpret sales data and drive decisions.
- Adaptable problem-solving under dynamic operational conditions.
