Job Description

The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies performing analysis and interpreting data from samples.
These are seasonal positions and are estimated to last for 3-6 months.
- Hiring will take place on a rolling basis until all openings are filled.
- There are openings forDay Shift (generally8 am - 6 pm) or Night Shift (generally 6 pm - 8 am). Actual shift times will vary depending on business need.
- Hourly Range $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr. This range is estimated for a Seasonal Lab Technician in Memphis Tennessee. Actual hourly rate may differ based upon location.
What you will do:
- Prepare and analyzesamples for a wide variety of testing procedures.
- Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned.
- Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation.
- Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner.
- Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables chemicals and parts for instrumentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas.

- Other duties as required.
What you will bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of analytical method instruments general lab practices and lab safety.
- Willingness and ability to work Day Shift (generally8 am - 6 pm) or Night Shift (generally 6 pm - 8 am).Actual shift timewill vary depending on business need.
