Job Description
An established law firm is seeking an entry-level Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Defense practice. This full-time on-site position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with complex cases while building a solid foundation for a successful legal career.
Responsibilities:
Represent and defend clients in insurance-related matters
Draft pleadings motions correspondence and other legal documents
Perform comprehensive legal research on a variety of topics
Assist senior attorneys with hearings motions and trial preparation
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive case outcomes
Maintain accuracy and organization across all casework
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member of the Florida Bar or awaiting results from the July 2025 Bar Exam
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Capable of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
Eager to learn and contribute in a team-driven environment
Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Outlook and Adobe
Strong legal research and writing ability
Ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with a team
