Job Description

This role is responsible for analyzing point-of-sale and household panel data to deliver insights that drive assortment strategies and support a dynamic sales organization. It contributes to business planning sales performance analysis and identifies growth opportunities playing a key role in major initiatives such as ABP Planning incentive programs wholesaler management and sales execution.

Accountabilities:

  • Update and run key performance reports for the LRB Sales organization. This includes analyzing shipment inventory and depletion data from multiple sources (IRI QlikView Cognos etc.)
  • Serve as a conduit with IT to manage all data and to report related issues for the sales organization.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Interpreting sales data to provide insights on performance metrics.
  • Competitive/Predictive Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing competitors strategies market positioning trends sales performance.
  • With the startup nature of the business demonstrate agility with any ad-hoc operational needs of the LRB Sales organization.

  • Field Sales Planning & Performance Reporting (LRB)
  • Key Business Drivers External Incentives Sales Execution Reporting (Store Surveys)
  • Volume & Distribution Analysis & Reporting
  • Off-Premise Share

Own:

  • Data Analytics & Insights
  • Reporting & Dashboards: (IRI QlikView Cognos etc.)
  • Owning Some Customer Relationships

Influence:

  • Internal Decisions: Gap Reporting Depletions Progress
  • Retailer Decisions: Product Assortment Shelf Placement and Merchandising Strategies

Critical Relationships:

  • LRB Field Sales National Accounts and Marketing
  • Finance MABI Operations and IT
  • Annual Business Plan Sales KPI Performance
  • Curating Insights Stories Sales Reporting

Skills Needed To Be Successful:

  • 2 years of analytical experience in the (CPG) industry leveraging syndicated scan & household panel data platforms (Circana Numerator)
  • Must have experience in QlikView iDig or another depletions data portal
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables V-Lookups formulas)
  • Strong data visualization skills in PowerPoint and Presentation/Communication skills internally and externally
  • Eagerness to learn new concepts analytics and technical applications.
