Drainlayer

Our client is a small family owned businessformed in 2002 and we areon the hunt for qualified or near qualified drainlayers.

What youll be doing

• Excavate and lay drainage pipes including storm water sewerage and water supply lines.
• Connect pipes to existing infrastructure and ensure proper sealing and joining
• Backfill and compact excavated areas to reinstate the ground
• Inspect and maintain existing drainage systems to identify and resolve any issues
• Operate a range of machinery and equipment required for drainage work
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Provide support and guidance to junior team members as required

What were looking for

• A valid Drainlaying certification and several years of hands-on experience in the trade
• A good level of demonstrated experience working with drainage installation in a civil setting
• Strong practical skills in drainage installation maintenance and repair
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• A commitment to working safely and adhering to all relevant regulations
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople
• Full class 1 and WTR endorsement
• Drainlayer inoculations
• Site safe or construct safe passport

Pay Rate: $30
