This is What You Will do in This Role:

Prepare/assist with development of functional specifications.
Prepare/assist with budget costing.
Liaising with clients and Dematic personnel.
Conformance to OHS&E standards in the design and execution of all work.
Preparation of schematic drawings PLC programs and configuration of operator interfaces.
Preparation of manufacturing and installation specifications.
Planning and supervision of major controls installations
Manage the procurement of parts the manufacture of cabinets and the electrical installation.
Controls project cost control.
Testing and commissioning.
Preparation of test plans and operator & technical manuals.
Training of client personnel.
Provide customer support.
Hand over to Customer service.

What We Are Looking For:

Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
Experience in electrical drawings design (EPLAN EEC One AutoCAD)
Experience in electrical installation supervision
Experience in system design (eg power calculation circuit protection design safety control circuit)
Experience interfacing materials handling systems with third party equipments (eg. automatic tag readers barcode scanners weigh scales etc)
Experience in PLC software development and office testing (TIA Portal Ladder SCL STL)
Experience in development of testing environments and conducting FATs
Experience in management of installation crews
Knowledge of configuration programming and commissioning of PLCs variable speed drives and safety devices (Profinet Profisafe AS-I TCP/IP PN/PN SEW Movitools Movimot Moviaxis.)
Knowledge of materials handling system controls (WCS and PLC integration)
Writing of technical documentation
