About Japan Central Flow (JPCF)

Our team supports Fulfillment Centers (FCs) across Japan. We aim to boost overall efficiency and create opportunities for FCs to deliver customer orders within 24 hours. We dive deep into metrics identify improvement opportunities and refine existing processes to achieve these goals.

Your Role: Were looking for a Risk Analyst to help identify opportunities support decision-making reduce costs speed up deliveries and ensure overall net benefit. Youll be a key player in continuous process improvement and automation especially focusing on outbound FC risk management.

- Team Collaboration: Work with teams at all levels (country regional and cross-regional) to drive improvements and implement customer-focused cost-saving initiatives. Lead medium to large complex projects across functions.

- Data Analysis: Use analytical skills to interpret large datasets perform root cause analysis prioritize projects and set stakeholder expectations.

- Business Cases: Develop clear functional specifications and business cases based on identified needs.

- Problem-Solving: Implement rigorous problem-solving methods support research and analysis and drive project schedules from design to release.

- Implementation Plans: Design and execute plans pilot and test new solutions and roll them out across broader Ops organizations at country and cross-regional levels.

- Business Partnership: Act as a credible partner to Amazons Operations network managing relationships with external partners throughout projects.

- Project Management: Demonstrate strong hands-on project and operations management taking ownership of project components and adapting to diverse tasks.

- Operational Expertise: Deepen understanding of operational processes troubleshoot issues and correct under-performing areas.

A day in the life
Analyze FC-specific and regional trends in a specific defect.
Dive Deep into Root Causes with high granularity and focus on Actionable Opportunities.
Help the team develop daily/weekly/monthly report packs tailored to stakeholder levels.
Act as regional SME for Delivery Risk classification Root Cause tree standardization and SOPs adoption.
Partner with Ops leaders and Network Directors to enforce defect prevention mechanisms and ensure timely corrective actions.
Drive simplification of risk planning by defining repeatable templates dashboards and stakeholder communication loops.

- 3 years of continuous work experience in logistics and/or technical project management field
- Demonstrated strength in Excel and SQL
- Strong Data Analysis Dive Deep and Problem-Solving skills.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results at a large scale.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills to ensure a proper interaction with other teams.
- Understands Operational processes deliverables and program management best practices.
- Manage expectations and prioritization of daily tasks providing visibility of progress and escalate barriers to timely delivery.
- Fluent in English.


- Degree in Engineering Operations Logistics or related field or 3 years industry experience.
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt or superior.
- Fluent in Japanese
- Advanced SQL/Excel data analysis skills
