Job Summary
Seeking a Junior / Intermediate level System Administrator with Windows system administration and help desk support experience. Supports classified and unclassified DoD systems in a multi-domain analysis lab environment. Primary responsibility is in conducting Tier I helpdesk support and basic system administration on Windows servers and workstations. Conducts system modifications based on operational and security policies. Investigates and resolves user network or computer issues to maintain the operational readiness of the system.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Represents the company to government agencies and other contractor facilities to support a Wide Area Network help desk to resolve user operational issues.
- Responsible for the configuration maintenance and installation of Windows infrastructure.
- Manage user accounts and file access permissions.
- Assists in application installation and troubleshooting.
- Assists in applying operating system and application security updates.
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate well with users other support teams and management.
Basic Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Must meet DOD 8570 requirements as an Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) and appropriate computing environment certifications.
- Bachelors Degree with 0-12 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Linux knowledge
- An understanding of how to build and deploy Windows 10 and Windows 11 workstations in a secure environment.
- Experience troubleshooting pc software and hardware issues.
- Experience applying STIGs to Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications.
- Windows server administration
- Audio/Video troubleshooting and support
- Bachelors in engineering or computer science
