GENERAL DUTIES:
Validate coordinate and manage the Districts Student Information System (SIS) other related data systems and submit state reporting. Serve as project manager for the delivery and auditing of student data provided to the state.
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeableSystems Analyst 2to support and enhance the technology infrastructure that drives student success across our district. This position plays a key role in managing and improving ourStudent Information System (SIS)and related applications such asQualtrics with a strong focus onautomating data processes using SQL scripting.
The ideal candidate will bring experience withSSRSC# and along with a solid understanding ofdata management in a K-12 educational setting. This role serves as the project lead for assigned systems collaborating with district staff vendors and agencies to ensure accurate secure and efficient data reporting and exchange. A strong commitment to educational equity and data privacy is essential as the work directly supports the operational and instructional needs of our schools.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors degree with a preferred emphasis in Computer Science or Technology Management or the equivalent level of education technical certifications training and experience
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications including but not limited to email and systems applications
- Experience applying fundamental project management principles to technology projects and initiatives
- Experience with data systems in an educational environment
- Experience writing and developing data queries
- Knowledge of and experience with State and Federal data privacy and security regulations
- Aptitude for collaborative application support internal system maintenance database structures and structured programming practices and techniques ( C#)
- Proficiency with SQL SSRS and Qualtrics
- Competency in scripting languages cloud-based platforms (Azure) along with Powershell
