What Youll Do
As an Activities Aide(CNA) in our long-term care environment youll be an essential part of our patient care team helping residents with daily living activities and supporting our nursing staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Works with Activities Director other Activity Department members and Volunteers to provide a stimulating enriching environment by providing a variety of social educational and recreational activities to meet the individual needs ofthe Care Centerresidents.
- Assists with the planning and implementation of activities for residents.
- Assists in developing programs to encourage socialization provide entertainment relaxation and fulfillment; and improve daily living skills.
- Develops and conducts a variety of programs and activities for all levels of patient ability this includes arts and crafts reading groups games gardening exercise programs social programs etc.
- Develops and maintains a good rapport with department members other staff and volunteers involved with the care plan to cultivate a team effort in resident care.
- Interacts with residents family members staff etc. under all conditions.
Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.
Who Were Looking For
- Active Colorado CNA license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of CNA experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older

Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors including a candidates qualifications skills competencies and experience.
