Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be working on the NIH-funded U01 project which has both mechanistic and translational perspectives.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting in vivo experiments to test the efficacy and toxicity of test drugs
Analyzing the data
Drafting manuscripts for publication
Generating preliminary data for grant applications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
DVM equivalent degree and PhD in pharmacology with a focus on neuroscience
Preferred Qualifications:
Publications in high-impact neuroscience journals relevant to disease-modification in experimental models of epilepsy.
