OVERVIEW
The Solutions Engineer collaborates with business units to implement solutions aligned with business strategy. Supports and maintains applications and technologies to meet enterprise requirements while creating reports and dashboards to support sales customer service product management finance and other business functions.
The Solutions Engineer will:
Works with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Manages projects from conception to implementation keeping stakeholders informed of progress
Creates and maintains database structures stored procedures and data models
Ensures application security and compliance with organizational standards
Develops and maintains integrations between enterprise systems
Creates and optimizes reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools
Participates in change management processes and maintains documentation
Other Duties:
Analyzes user requirements for new and existing software solutions
Performs system analysis design implementation documentation installation and user training for developed and acquired software
On call for applications and technologies
SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA FedRAMP and NIST 800-53. Additionally they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Strong interpersonal collaboration and communication abilities
Experience with collaborative platforms (Teams Jira Microsoft Project Office365 SharePoint)
Proficiency in programming languages and development environments
Critical thinking problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
Ability to resolve user issues and respond to technical inquiries
Effective time management and prioritization skills
Technical documentation and workflow diagram creation
Desired:
5 years of experience in a similar role.
Process optimization and automation experience
Proficiency in HTML JavaScript C and CSS
Service desk platform experience
Experience with Administration of development on SharePoint Office365 or Jira
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
