Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment ChristianaCare is seeking aPary-Time Service Assistant IIIto join ourFood and Nutrition Servicesteam atUnion Hospital. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and mission-driven organization.
Schedule:Day Shifts Must be available between7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Part-Time Position working 24 hours weekly.
Weekend Rotations Required
What Youll Do:
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash credit and dining card transactions.
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales at the end of each shift.
- Assist customers courteously and efficiently ensuring accurate transactions.
- Maintain and sanitize beverage dispensing machines.
- Promote daily specials and contribute to customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Lead and support team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow safety sanitation and infection prevention protocols.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in food service or cashiering (6 months preferred).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic and operate POS systems.
- A team-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.
