Job Description Summary
Serve as an Advanced Practice Provider for Urology providing care for and coordinating efforts pertaining to Urologic Oncology program for Urologic oncology patients. Will also provide care for general urology patient population as needed. Provide pre & post-operative patient care conduct clinical session and perform basic clinic procedures including testing and counseling patients both in person and remotely.Entity

Scheduled Work Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am- 4:30pm.

Required Training and Experience
Required Minimum Training: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN as noted below.

Degree of Supervision
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant will be assigned a Primary Supervising/Collaborating Physician employed by MUSC and will report directly to this physician.

Basic Life Support (BLS).

Graduation from an approved Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessor agencies. Must be licensed in the state of South Carolina and certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
