The University of Chicagos Biological Sciences Division (BSD) the University of Chicago MedicineComprehensive Cancer Center (UCCCC) and the Ben May Department for Cancer Research seek a Professor with tenure in the field of cancer immunology who has a research focus on metabolism T cell biology and the tumor microenvironment. The appointee will also teach students at the graduate and/or undergraduate levels and supervise trainees. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. The appointee will have access to state-of-the-art core facilities and to outstanding colleagues and graduate students affiliated with numerous degree-granting programs within the BSD. Faculty in the BSD collaborate widely across their respective departments with other divisions such as the Physical Sciences Division (PSD) schools such as the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering (PME) and institutes at the University of Chicago and with researchers at the Argonne National Laboratory and the Marine Biological Laboratory.
Prior to the start of employment qualified applicants must have a PhD or equivalent degree in a field relevant to the research area.
