Job Description
Qualis LLC is seeking a an ICBM Software Engineer to support our government customer in Hill AFB UT on a part-time basis.
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design software solutions for ICBM systems.
- Develop test and maintain high-quality software using programming languages including C/C/C# Python Ada and Fortran.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Document software designs processes and procedures to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and tools.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering computer science or related technical field
- 4 years of experience in software development
- 4 years of experience working in a team environment
- Experience working in the full software development life cycle
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hardware integration and testing processes is a plus
- Experience with C Ada or Fortran programming languages
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
