Job Summary

Cabrillo Pet Hospital is looking for a personable and skilled Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! As the primary point of contact at our clinic you will play a crucial role in ensuring every client interactionwhether over the phone or in personresults in a positive and memorable impression. Your ability to create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service will be key to our success.

  • Salary: $19 26 per hour depending on experience and education
  • Schedule: Full-time Four or Five 8-hour shifts every other Saturday required
  • Location: 4134 Voltaire St San Diego CA 92107

We are a large multi-service practice offering veterinary services boarding & day camp and a pet store in beautiful San Diego California. We are proudly AAHA accredited and have been serving the Point Loma and Ocean Beach community since 1975.

Who You Are:

If you have a professional friendly personality and love to help people and their pets you will fit right in with our Client Service Team!

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 years of customer service experience in a veterinary dental or medical clinical settingrequired
  • 1 years using a Point-of Sale (POS) system preferred
  • Experience processing financial transactions payment plans billing and insurance preferred
  • Avimark PIMS Knowledge
  • Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures preferred
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable with veterinary or medical record keeping software and other digital communication tools
  • Professional and friendly phone etiquette
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced client-facing environment
  • Ensure a clean safe and organized work environment
