Camberwell Grammar School is an independent Anglican day school for boys from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a passionate and experienced VCE Psychology Teacher to join our Middle and Senior School teams in a progressive supportive and well-resourced educational environment.
This is an exciting opportunity as 2026 marks the first year that Psychology will be offered at Camberwell Grammar School. You will play a key role in shaping the course and inspiring a new wave of student interest in the field.
You will be responsible for teaching Units 1 - 4 Psychology alongside another subject method.
This is a full time permanent opportunity commencing Term 1 2026.
In addition all teaching staff are required to participate in one season of the AGSV Program by either coaching or managing a sporting team as part of their overall responsibility including other minor co-curricular involvement such as a Year Level Camp and our Friday Activities Program. This role will also include pastoral care responsibilities.
ABOUT YOU
You are a passionate outstanding educator who can lead by example and model exceptional practice. You are an expert in your field and have excellent knowledge of current curriculum approaches and sound teaching practices. You have a genuine passion for fostering inclusivity and ensuring all students have equal opportunities to thrive.
You will also have:
Relevant teaching qualifications
Certificate of Teacher Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
Experience teaching VCE Psychology essential
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with students staff and parents
Outstanding planning and organisational skills coupled with adaptability to deal with the unexpected
Experience in the delivery of pastoral academic and co-curricular programs and fostering a dynamic learning community committed to the development of the whole person
