We are looking for a Mechanical Design Intern tojoin our FEProducts Technology and Digitalizationteam in United States. This position is full time during the summer months and a minimum of 20 hrs during the school year.
Training will be given to accomplish the following:
- Drafting support using Medusa 2D system.
- Drafting support using Unigraphics 3D/2D system
- Engineering support work for projects as assigned
- Release of drawings / documents through SAP & Windchill ERP systems
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Adheres to company and department policies procedures and standards
- Supports cooperates with and participates in company-wide ESG & EHS Management systems which includes following all safety health and environmental policies and procedures. Supports and cooperates in company-wide Quality Management effort
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Completion of sophomore or junior year of BSc Mechanical Engineering degree
- Excellent interpersonal communication and analytical skills
- Sound computer skills in Word Excel Access and PowerPoint
- Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems
- An Interest in rotating machinery and manufacturing is beneficial
