SCHEDULE: 40/HRS
PAY RANGE: $30-35/HR

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Purpose: The position is responsible for repairing and calibrating all machines and gages sent into repair and calibration departments. Responsibilities: Performs repairs in accordance with appropriate quality standards and manufacturers instructions. Identifies root cause of failure modes and solutions in a systematic manner. Utilizes formal test procedures to ensure that repaired products pass factory performance requirements. Evaluates credit returns and OOBF for material review board disposition and RTV. Maintains accurate records of failure modes and parts replaced for each unit repaired. Performs calibration to ensure repaired measuring instruments are within published factory specifications. Attend product service and any other training as required by management. Others as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: Proficient technical ability and electro-mechanical aptitude. High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Demonstrated experience with CRM software. Possess multi-tasking and organizational skills. Able to read and comprehend standard engineering documentation including but not limited to schematics BOMs test procedures wiring diagrams and assembly drawings. Performing receiving inspection on incoming gages including verification of quantity condition of containers and gages availability of purchase orders and notifying the customer of any deficiency as soon as possible. Performing calibration to the requirements as specified in the company quality system and any special instructions provided on the
Work Orders. Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment: Repair and Calibration Technician work in a well-lit appropriately lab room setting often working near moving mechanical parts and electronics. Physical Demands: The essential functions of this job require the ability to stand walk and sit; high degree of dexterity using precise finger movements to manipulate small objects; reach with arms and hands; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; talk and hear; lift up to 50 pounds.
