Job Description

Temp To Perm

Floor Assembler in NE Austin

Temp to Hire

$19/hr

Monday-Friday

6:30am to 3pm (2 weeks training) then 2nd shift 2pm to 10pm

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations.

Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Operates hand tools power tools or production equipment.

Assembles products or sub-assemblies according to verbal written instructions or by following: drawings bill of material schematic or diagrams.

Performs a variety of tasks.

Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requires 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

May be required to complete a formal training in area of specialty.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Qualified candidates will have to submit to a background check and drug test on-site.
