We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Area Director to lead grow and optimise our clients business in Amsterdam.

This is a senior leadership role with full accountability for sales development marketing operations finance and team management across the area.

Trading under a number of brands they have a physical network of over 3000 locations across 1000 towns and cities in 120 countries. Our partners mission is to help millions of customers to have a great day at work every day.

COVID-19 forced an unprecedented experiment in flexible working which is now driving a surge in demand for our flexible workspace solutions. To meet this demand they are rapidly accelerating the growth of the global network. To deliver our clients ambition they are recruiting partners to open and operate locations. Their target audience is building owners franchise operators and competitors we will work with partners under a variety of commercial structures demanding a dynamic and broad-based approach to business development.

As Area Director you will be responsible for maximising operating profit ROI and cash returns from the existing business while driving sustainable revenue growth over the next 2436 months. You will own and execute the growth plan build and lead a high-performing team and ensure world-class operational and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Growth Leadership:

    • Drive consistent revenue growth through new and existing sales channels.

    • Lead pricing sales volume and conversion strategies.

    • Build strategic partnerships and grow pipeline opportunities.

    • Develop and execute the area marketing plan to boost brand awareness.

  • Commercial Management:

    • Maximise profit potential and cash returns from the area.

    • Review and act on performance metrics to exceed business targets.

  • Operations & Customer Service:

    • Ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

    • Drive retention and service standards across all sites.

  • Growth & Development:

    • Execute footprint expansion through innovative low-risk models (franchising licensing partnerships).

    • Identify and secure new development opportunities.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Recruit develop and lead a high-performing team.

    • Establish clear objectives coach for success and foster collaboration.

    • Provide visible leadership across sales operations and development.

About You

  • Proven track record of growing and leading a business at scale.

  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to read and act on financial performance.

  • Skilled in sales leadership negotiation and strategic partnerships.

  • Experience in recruiting developing and inspiring high-performing teams.

  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

  • High integrity and ethical leadership approach.
