As our HR Manager you will take ownership of all core HR functions providing both strategic direction and hands-on support across the business. Youll work closely with senior leaders and team managers to drive employee engagement compliance and a strong company culture.
- Part-Time position (9am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)
- Salary range between $50 000-$60 000 based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
- Provide expert guidance on New Zealand employment law and best practice
- Maintain and update HR policies employment agreements and compliance procedures
- Support managers with performance reviews KPIs and employee development
- Handle employment relations matters including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
- Oversee training and development planning
- Coordinate payroll input and support remuneration reviews
- Champion health safety and employee wellbeing initiatives
- Lead culture and engagement activities across the business
What Were Looking For
- 5 years of generalist HR experience ideally in construction development or similar industries
- In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law and HR practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive organised and comfortable working independently
- Experience with HRIS systems and modern HR tools
- Relevant tertiary qualification in HR Business or a related field
