Job Summary
Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S (Tetra Pak Ice Cream) The worlds leading supplier of machinery and lines for production treatment and packing of Ice Cream products is looking for a Team Leader to join our Automation Engineering Team.
The Automation Engineering Team located in Aarhus Denmark is a competent and innovative team of 25 colleagues who have the responsibility for the development and design of automation solutions for production equipment in the ice cream industry.
What you will do
As Team Leader you will be responsible for a team of 15 Automation Software Engineers and product specialist based in Aarhus and report to the Business Stream Automation Manager.
The team is responsible for development and deployment of automation software for all our processing units in the Ice Cream Business Stream.
You will be reponsible for:
- Drive resource and competence planning to match the long and short-term business needs.
- Secure and lead automation design reviews with team members.
- Apply your technical skills to deliver design and implementation of software solutions.
- Ensure good application of processes & tools.
- Analyse and assist issue resolution.
- Match department competencies to business needs by developing individuals within the department by providing
appropriate coaching training and experience to develop skills. - Drive and manage HR needs of the Automation team members including annual salary review process day-to-day personal needs and regular feedback on performance.

As the ideal candidate you have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. You are truly belive in the importance of working and delivering results as a team. Heres what were looking for:
Experience & Education:
- Degree in engineering with a natural interest in automation electrical digitalization and production processes
- Minimum 10 years of practical experience working as an engineer in the food industry or Automation design
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience with engineers.
- PLC and HMI knowledge (Rockwell Siemens)
- Proven leadership experience motivating and coaching direct reports
