Are you looking for an exciting start to your career in sales and engineering As a Trainee Inside Sales Engineer you will learn how to support sales activities by preparing quotations providing technical and commercial assistance and building relationships with customers. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a technical sales environment while working with experienced professionals.

In This Role You Will:

  • Learn how to create quotations using Emerson solutions products and services including third-party offerings;
  • Gain experience in handling technical and commercial aspects of customer requests;
  • Work closely with the field sales team to follow up on quotes and support customer needs;
  • Process customer purchase orders with accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Provide product and application information to internal and external customers;
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams;
  • Collaborate with international back offices to ensure smooth order processing;
  • Keep sales administration tools up to date;
  • Follow Emersons policies including ethics and trade compliance.

Who You Are:

You are eager to learn and develop a career in sales and technology. You enjoy working with customers solving problems and collaborating with a team. You are proactive detail-oriented and ready to take on new challenges in an encouraging learning environment.

For This Role You Will Need:

  • A technical diploma at HBO bachelors or masters level (or strong technical affinity with education in another field);
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken);
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Interest in learning about sales engineering and customer interactions;
  • Ability to work in a structured and organized way;

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Some familiarity with technical products or sales processes;
  • Strong motivation to develop skills in a commercial and technical role;
  • A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
