KITE Search are partnering with one of the most successful international architect studios in China as they seek a Design Director (Architecture) to oversee their lifestyle team. Known for producing award winning designs across Cultural Museums Education and such the business has developed a global reputation for excellence. Headed up by a whos who of iconic names within the industry they produce high quality work across Asia and are a regarded globally as the leading name in the design world. Their portfolio of work includes iconic projects across the world.
The Role
The Design Director(Architecture) will contribute to the strategic planning of the practice in Shanghai. Using your management capability to supervise a team of 30 staff youll ensure quality measures are adhered to and bring synergy to the existing structure. Youll also manage important relationships and further cement their reputation for offering excellent client care. For this role its also essential that you have a strong achitectural background and tenure from leading international firms with experience in China.
Theres a hands-on element to the role and youll enhance the skills of the existing teams by leading by example. As an experienced Design Director youll have a proven track record of managing teams within an architectural setting and the ability to work in a global business environment. Theres also a possibility that the role could suit a senior associate level architect looking to take the next step.
Experience of working for a design-led practice and a portfolio of impressive work will ensure you produce high calibre work. The ability to inspire motivate and contribute valuable ideas will take the teams to the next level.
