Job Description
Pharmacists at Seattle Childrens Hospital provide safe effective and cost-efficient pharmaceutical care for a wide range of pediatric patients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight of the medication use process managing collaborative drug therapy agreements therapeutic drug monitoring providing drug information developing departmental and organizational guidelines precepting pharmacy learners staff supervision and providing education to health care professionals patients and caregivers.
This is an evening shift position that works four 10-hour shifts per week (only works every 4th weekend). The pharmacist will be expected to work in the ED and the ICU on evenings as part of a set PM team template. Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining PALS certification for code response managing anticoagulation via collaborative practice agreements order verification collaboration with other healthcare team members in development of therapeutic plans patient education precepting pharmacy students and residents participation in P&T and clinical pathway work and more.
Pharmacists participate in rounding when applicable.
Required Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Required Credentials
Licensed by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacist.
Preferred
Hospital pharmacy experience
Pediatric pharmacy experience
Pharmacy residency training
Compensation Range
$139486.00 - $209228.00 per yearSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
