C# Developer

We are InShared: an online insurer that does everything just a little differently. We started as a disruptor in the Dutch insurance world. Now we are on our way to expand internationally. We use smart technology to make our insurance services simple fast and fair. Our goal is to build the best digital insurance product in the world.

Today we are a team of 350 people but soon we could be 500. To continue growing internationally we are looking for entrepreneurial and energetic people who want to keep shaking up the insurance industry with us. What do we need A C# Developer who wants to help make our platform scalable and future-proof.

What will you be doing

Our IT team is constantly evolving. We are working on and moving to a completely new cloud-based insurance platform. As a C# Developer at InShared you will become an essential part of the team that contributes to this renewal.

As part of an agile value stream team you will take and share responsibility for designing building and managing the value stream funnel from start to end including the core of our systems the essential services. For instance the service that calculates premiums or one that ensures claims are paid out smoothly.

Currently we are building our new digital insurance platform which handles sales administration and automated claims processing for all our customers. Well determine together which domain youll work in ensuring your skills are used to their fullest potential. You could be working on advanced premium calculations integrations with external partners or automated claims processing.

What do you bring

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree level of thinking and working

• At least 5 years of experience with C#

• Experience with large-scale and complex software projects

• Knowledge of and experience with design patterns

• Experience with relational databases

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (a plus)

• Experience with containerization (a plus)

• Proficiency in English
