Senior / Sales Executive IC HK

Purpose Statement

Core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop further as professional sales rep by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques. Able to tackle a variety of issues general knowledge in medical device industry (BSC and competitors).
  • Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly quarterly and yearly sales targets as agreed with the Manager.
  • Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under general supervision of the Manager.
  • With limited instructions of Manager plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives through execution while optimize available tools (consignment etc).
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs
  • Cultivate wide range of business relationships with hospital management purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (monthly & year basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Upon request may lead a project team of moderate scope.

In all actions demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

General understanding of business unit/group function. Exercises judgment when interpreting company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

Exercises judgment to determine appropriate action. Has knowledge of alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the business or technological environment.

Planning and Organization

Plans organizes and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule.

Discretion/Latitude; Supervision Received; Decision Making

Works under general direction regarding the progress of projects and special assignments. May seek guidance in resolving problems interpretating established policies procedures and practices. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment.

Business Relationships and Project Management

Cultivates a wide range of internal business relationships and begins to develop an external network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks. May lead a project team of small to moderate scope. Influence exerted at peer level and occasionally at first levels of management.

Impact

Contributes to the completion of departmental projects and goals. Errors in judgment poor recommendations or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.

Liaison

Engages with internal company and external contacts. Represents organization on specific projects. Uses diplomacy and tact in interactions and problem solving.

Mentoring

Provides guidance to less experienced staff.
