Job Description

Role: Outside Sales Representative: Southeast

Trimax Mowing Systems is a family-owned company that designs develops manufactures and distributes tractor-powered mowing equipment. Our aim is to create mowing solutions which focus on low Total-Cost-of-Ownership and a long commercial life. We design products which are safe efficient and intuitive to use.

As we continue our US market expansion we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative based out of Georgia preferably in Atlanta area to cover part of our Southeastern regions direct sales channel. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the Trimax team and help champion our vision for the future.

Your Role:

Your primary role will be to generate and cultivate demand for Trimax product lines within various target markets concentrating on turf producers/sod farms while pursuing other developing verticals by effectively engaging in your region. Sales will be conducted through direct sales channel to end-users. The objective is to ensure customer satisfaction and continued market penetration through strong mutually benefitting relationships with the end-users and industry partners. To be successful in reaching the objective you will not only be the master of your products but also in the craft by guiding the end-users to utilize the most fitting solutions to their application.

Additional aspects of the role include:

  • Representing Trimax brand with passion and dedication.
  • Providing hands-on technical products and industry/application specific assistance.
  • Planning setting up and exhibiting at field day and other industry events across the year to promote sales.
  • Field demonstrations and installation of mowers
  • Active use and maintenance of our comprehensive CRM systems to drive customer engagement and sales


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Results driven attention to detail and tenacity to open doors to achieve ambitious targets and to continuously look for fitting opportunities follow up and implement new business.
  • Proven experience within target markets and/or with tractor powered machinery and related sales.
  • Comprehension of turf management and/or agricultural practices desired for relatable connection
  • Effective negotiation skills to achieve win-win outcomes within assigned multi-channel customer base
  • High levels of organizational capability to strategically plan assigned territory penetration in rapidly changing environment
  • Capability to competently train customers and dealer partners on proper use and owner maintenance to increase their product knowledge.
  • Ability to tow a trailer strap down machinery and maintain safe operating conditions of assigned fleet equipment.
  • Ability to act as an effective global yet local team member contributing to the growth of the company.
  • IT Competence inc. Microsoft Suite and ability to learn and use new systems quickly including proficiency in CRM software to manage customer data track interactions and enhance overall sales processes.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal skills.


Compensation package:

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and parts often weighing up to 50-75 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as pushing pulling and maneuvering large equipment.
  • Ability to crawl under and around large equipment to perform repairs and inspections.
  • Capacity to work extended hours occasionally in various weather conditions (e.g. heat cold rain).
  • Ability to drive company vehicles including trucks and trailers and operate machinery both on and off-road.
