As an Engineer/SeniorEngineer the Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Product Engineering organization at Micron Technology Inc. you will be part of a brilliant team of engineers that solves complex problems. You will be responsible for enabling Microns NAND products with seamless and issue-free release to both internal and external non-volatile system customers.
In this role (FDV-RSG/Infrastructure) you will formulate and execute validation flows on the latest RG NAND designs using silicon and simulation. Validation onthe NAND datasheet commands and featurescan come from deterministic usage cases as well as Pseudo-Random (aka RSG - Random Sequence Generator) sequences. When device issues are uncovered you will perform detailed failure analysis and work closely with the various Engineering and Development groups to resolve the observed issues. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Design novel test algorithms and develop test programs for validating NAND features and commands
Automation of program development and work processes using scripting
Develop and optimize deterministic usage caseflow and Random Sequence Generator for validation purpose
Use high-speed tester hardware to perform functional and design validation of new NAND devices
Study the latest RG NAND designs with focus on customer mode operations
Perform Electrical Failure Analysis during the evaluations and investigate root causes of reported device issues
Collaborate with NAND Design Application Engineering Product and System teams to drive closure of device issues
Skills Required:
Keen interest in design validation
Software development proficiency (e.g.C-based programming) and scripting (e.g. Perl Python)
For Engineer role fresh grad are welcome as well as engineers that have 1-3 years relevant experience.
For Senior Engineer 3 years and aboveexperience in NAND related product and/or test program development
Prior experience in developing test programs for ATE platforms (e.g. Teradyne/Advantest) at wafer/package level would be an advantage
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Simulation software know-how (e.g. Verilog Synopsis VCS) is a plus
Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
Good multitasking and organizational skills
Strong presentation skills
Self-motivation and enthusiasm
