We are currently looking for a lead instructor for our part-time (24 week) Software Engineering Bootcamp.
Our Software Engineering Bootcamp is a life-changing educational experience where learners gain the skills and mindsets to take on new careers as web developers. We are looking for a lead instructor with strong front-end and back-end development experience to play a key role on our instructional team.
This role is based in Singapore and is delivered in a hybrid (on campus and online) format requiring instructors to reside in Singapore and have an eligible work permit or be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. (We are not currently sponsoring employees.)

Through a combination of live instruction supported study with independent work unit projects (individual and team-based) and 1:1 support to master full-stack web development we prepare our learners to become full stack software engineers with experience in solving real world engineering problems.
Our curriculum is designed to guide students through the software development process starting from foundational concepts to advanced applications. We begin with the basics of programming using JavaScript and introduce web design with HTML and CSS. From there we progress to simple web development followed by more advanced front-end techniques using .
The course then transitions to backend development focusing on API creation and database management. Approximately 50% of the course is dedicated to JavaScript-based frontend development 25% to backend development with a focus on APIs databases and security and the remainder on backend development using an additional programming language.
Additionally we equip learners with essential skills for the workplace including source control team collaboration and developer workflows ensuring they are well-prepared for working in cross-functional team environments.
The Software Engineering Bootcamp consists of four units:
Learning is assessed through four major projects (two independent projects one team project and a final course capstone) in addition to smaller projects and labs. About 20% of the overall class time is dedicated to supporting learners project work.
