Job Overview:
As a Mobile App/Web Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining a robust transportation app. You will work closely with our operations team to create a seamless user experience and ensure the app meets the needs of our users. Your role will involve both front-end and back-end development with a focus on creating a high-performance scalable application.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain a responsive and user-friendly web application for transportation services.
Implement modern user-friendly interfaces using HTML CSS JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Angular.
Develop and maintain server-side logic databases and APIs using technologies such as Express and MongoDB.
Work closely with designers product managers and other developers to create a cohesive and efficient development process.
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability ensuring it can handle high volumes of traffic and data.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the app is reliable and free of errors.
Keep abreast of the latest developments in web development and transportation technology to ensure our app remains cutting-edge.
Gather user feedback and iterate on the app to continually improve the user experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
3-5 years of professional web development experience with a focus on Mobile App.
Proven experience as a web developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) and frameworks (React Angular) as well as back-end technologies ( Express MongoDB).
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of database design and management particularly with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and adapt to changing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working on transportation or logistics applications.
Experience with mobile app development (iOS and Android) is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and services.
