This position offers the opportunity to grow your expertise while supporting projects across healthcare higher education office data centers and other sectors.
Develop project engineering scope in collaboration with senior staff.
Perform load calculations
Select HVAC equipment and size ductwork piping and plumbing systems.
Coordinate mechanical requirements with architects electrical structural and civil teams.
Conduct job site visits and prepare field reports.
Ensure compliance with codes standards and regulations.
Support CAD/Revit design efforts and review documentation.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
3 years of experience in HVAC/mechanical system design.
Familiarity with design tools.
Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) certification or plans to complete within 2 years.
Strong communication skills with ability to work independently and on teams.
Experience with energy modeling and/or life-cycle cost analysis.
Exposure to plumbing system design (domestic water sanitary vent).
Knowledge of cost impacts of system selection.
