This is a fantastic opportunity for aWater Engineerto join our national water teaminHamilton or New Plymouth.
The role:
- Core function includes investigation design and implementation of a range of projects involving stormwater water supply wastewater transport and multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop good business relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure required project outcomes are met and client satisfaction is maintained at a high standard.
- Preparation of high-quality reports correspondence and other deliverables as required.
- Perform office and site-based roles including working with virtual teams across GHD offices nationally and internationally.
- Provide guidance to graduate design engineers on projects and be able to train and mentor them.
About you:
- A relevant university degree in Civil engineering with at least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry design standards and guidelines
- Working knowledge of public and private sector
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Design software skills (i.e.12D Civil3D ACAD GIS)
- Ability to nurture and develop teamwork within the group
- Organised in multitasking of self and others and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to be proactive and take ownership of projects
- Self-motivated and energetic
- Flexible in your approach to challenges
