Maintenance Superintendent

Responsibilities

  • Design implement and supervise preventive corrective and predictive maintenance programs for industrial equipment HVACR machinery and plant utilities.
  • Lead the maintenance team setting priorities allocating resources and ensuring compliance with KPIs (MTTR MTBF OEE availability).
  • Manage the maintenance budget controlling expenses in spare parts external services and contractors.
  • Coordinate installation improvement and modernization projects to enhance efficiency safety and sustainability.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial safety quality and environmental standards (ISO OSHA NOM etc.).
  • Implement RCM Lean Manufacturing and TPM methodologies to optimize processes.
  • Manage and supervise external service providers and spare part suppliers.
  • Collaborate with production engineering and quality teams to solve technical issues affecting operations.
  • Develop and train maintenance personnel fostering a culture of safety continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Monitor performance of critical HVACR equipment and define improvement strategies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Electromechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 7 years in industrial maintenance preferably in HVACR automotive metal-mechanic or heavy manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience supervising multidisciplinary teams (1030 people).
  • Technical knowledge: HVACR systems hydraulics pneumatics electrical and automation systems.
  • Experience with CMMS/ERP (SAP Maximo Infor etc.).
  • Familiarity with TPM RCM and Lean methodologies.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of safety environmental and energy regulations.
  • Skills: Leadership problem-solving project management communication supplier management.
  • Languages: IntermediateAdvanced English (preferred for corporate reporting and international suppliers).

Onsite Work Arrangement:

This role is based fully onsite and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
