Join CRC as Our Next Software Wizard (a.k.a. Software Programmer)!
Pay Range: $29.25$38.03/hour
Reports to: Software Development & Support Manager
Status: Non-Exempt Level 8
Location: Indoors (yes we checked) with low noise and good coffee

What Youll Be Doing
Building fixing and enhancing our custom software applications
Teaming up with brilliant colleagues to design test and launch features that make life easier for our users
Writing the kind of documentation your future self will thank you for
Communicating like a proboth in code and in plain English
Participating in the on-call rotation (dont worry we share the fun)
Traveling occasionally (less than 10%)
Your Toolkit
Must-haves:
Experience in Core MVC SQL Server JSON API SOAP web services and desktop applications
Strong skills in C# SQL HTML JavaScript
Familiarity with Azure DevOps Git Visual Studio SQL Server Management Studio
Positive team attitude and great communication chops
Nice-to-haves (bonus points if youve got them):
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience building AI-powered applications or using AI coding tools
Knowledge of Agile Lean and/or DevOps practices
Cloud hosting know-how (Azure is our friend)
Telephony integration Salesforce Jira automated testing tools

Qualifications
Competencies
- Experience with software development using Core MVC web applications and background services SQL Server stored procedures JSON API and SOAP web services and desktop applications
- Knowledge of and experience with C# SQL HTML and JavaScript languages
- Experience with Azure DevOps Git Microsoft Frameworks Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio development tools
- Excellent Team Skills Positive attitude value-oriented and great communicator
Required education and experience
- Associates degree in Computer Science field or equivalent experience required
Preferred education and experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Direct experience with software development preferred
Preferred Skills
- AI skills both within coding tool usage and developing AI applications is a huge plus
- Agile Lean and/or DevOps development practices and application therein
- Azure and other cloud and Windows Server hosting experience
- Application prototype and design tools automated testing SOAP/JSON testing tools
- SQL Server database administration data transformation and reporting Telephony integration
- Ticketing and work tracking systems such as Salesforce and Jira.
