Annual salary: Starts at 6000 JPY/hr negotiable based on skills and experience.
Role Expectations
- Assess usability risks across all user-facing products and provide actionable insights to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with business leaders product managers engineers and other designers to create intuitive and engaging interfaces.
- Conduct user research usability testing and data analysis to inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across products.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development process ensuring that user needs are prioritized.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve product usability.

Skills and qualifications required:
- Proven experience as a UX designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing successful product designs.
- Expertise in usability testing methodologies and user research techniques.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch Figma Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Experience working in Japan or with Japanese products is highly desirable.
- A degree in Design Human-Computer Interaction or a related field is preferred.
