Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Yamagata Japan
Salary: 1012 million JPY (depending on experience)
About the Role:
We are supporting a major pharmaceutical construction project in Yamagata and seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical works on a cutting-edge Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Mechanical and Electrical contractors to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Ensure all electrical systems meet Japanese local codes regulations and GMP requirements.
- Collaborate with design and construction teams to support project delivery on schedule.
- Review electrical engineering documentation drawings and contractor submittals.
- Monitor quality safety and progress of on-site electrical installations.
Requirements:
- 510 years of Electrical Engineering experience within industrial or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese electrical codes and regulations.
- Local to Japan with eligibility to work without sponsorship.
- Japanese fluency required; English proficiency preferred but not essential.
- Experience managing external contractors on large-scale projects.
