Job Description
Our client is a sizable firm that focuses in innovation and technology.
Assistant Laboratory Manager (HI LAB)
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day operation and management of the facilities in the HI Lab and to manage the request from the HI Lab users during official hours (by request from HI Lab users for non-official hours)
- Establish standard operation procedure in the HI Lab and shall be responsible for updating the HI Lab SOP and other Handbook which may need to be revised from time to time
- Work with HKSTPs contractor to grant a cleanroom certification (e.g. NEBB) every year and calibration schedules (e.g. gas detectors alarm system fume extraction system etc.)
- Ensure the cleanroom is always under good control and monitoring for its temperature humidity particle count electrostatic discharge and perform monthly (or upon request by HKSTP) measurement of cleanroom data.
- Provide cleanroom operation training to each HI Lab user before working in HI Lab
- Maintain inventory control and to provide necessary items to HI Lab users and provide support to HKSTP on tender requirements for purchase of all consumables and materials based on HKSTPs procurement guidelines when quantity is approaching to the minimum requirement.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by HKSTPs representatives.
- University degree preferably in Science Engineering or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years experience in cleanroom laboratory works
- Experience in managing cleanroom diary operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills have the flair to articulate clearly to all levels of people
- Customer service experience in facilities management and maintenance of cleanroom laboratory
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
