- Scope of responsibilities:
- Sourcing / scouting with a focus on China for China China for APAC China for ROW
- Supplier Mapping per type of product/equipment Manage Supplier ID card Documentation for Chinese suppliers opportunities
- Define and lead action plan to finalize opportunities identified to extend Qualification
- Manage communication plan to promote Chinese suppliers opportunities
- Spend analysis and saving opportunities
- Scouting for new Chinese suppliers to improve competitiveness
- Forecast Management (18 months vision)
- Supplier panel management for APAC needs:
- Needanalysis based on Forecast Management (18 months vision)
- Saving opportunities
- Supplier panel rationalization based on needs
- Scouting for Local potential suppliers (non OEM) to improve competitiveness
- Define/complete FWA to be deployed to improve efficiency for OEM and non OEM
- SRM
- Prepare/lead Business Review for Local supplier and Manage the close the loop
- Utilize DPS tools: iAnalyze/iContract/iPerform etc.
- Product Development and Project execution:
- Identify Chinese supplier opportunities
- Support > RFQ process for the product development phase Supplier(s) Selection
- Support > Post Order Management Claim Management
- Develop an expertise in the global procurement spend categories through rigorous factbase analytics (ie technical product/service characteristics internal needs external supply market dynamics supply chain and risk management)
- Ensure all projects are delivered using standard tools and processes to meet the requirements outlined in Air Liquides group policies standards and guidelines.
- Min 8 years working experience of successful strategic category management particularly in E&I category within the procurement organization of a MNC
- Partial strategic category responsibility either on a global or at a regional (ie APAC) level
- A preferred industry background in FMCG Automotive Oil & Gas Chemical Electronics
- A Bachelor in engineering or business administration.
- Outstanding prior experience in data analytics reporting and system design paired with the ability to synthesize data and build strong business cases
